    Many people may confuse Bluamec® Water with trioxide gas. Trioxide gas is mainly generated through a series of complex non-linear photochemical reactions involving nitrogen oxides (NOx) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). High concentrations of trioxide gas can be detrimental to human health.
    Bluamec® Water is different from trioxide gas. The trioxide water in Bluamec® Water produced by our devices will disperse in the air. Only a very small amount of ozone gas will overflow, which will not pose any harm to humans.

    Bluamec® Water contains hydroxyl radicals (OHo), trioxygen (O3), oxygen atoms (Oo), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), and other oxidation-rich groups, which are extremely unstable and decompose rapidly to form free radicals with high ORP or redox properties. During oxidation, only one oxygen atom reacts chemically with hydrogen to form hydroxyl radicals (OH). Bluamec® Water is harmless to humans and can quickly attack and eliminate contaminants it comes into contact with. The oxidation process disrupts the cell walls of bacteria and viruses in the same way that hydrogen peroxide and iodine do, causing microbial cells to evaporate and die. This oxidative action also removes electrons from molecules and ultimately renders them inert. In this way, Bluamec® Water kills bacteria that cause odor and viruses responsible for diseases, and breaks down the surface biofilms that feed microorganisms.

    The half-life of oxidation-rich groups in Bluamec® Water is about 15 minutes (depending on the temperature and water quality). These oxidation groups naturally abate, which means that they turn to water and oxygen after disinfection. As a result, there are no chemical residues, which makes Bluamec® Water a better disinfectant solution than chemical disinfectants.
